Early after breakfast from your hotel, you will be tranfered to the airport for your POM – TARI flight, you will arrive in tari and transferred to Lakuanda Lodge for you tour of the Huli Tribes in the Tari valley.
After lunch, you will visit the Huli Wigmen face Painting and their dancing and traditions. When wearing traditional dress, the men decorate their bodies with colored clay and wear elaborate headdresses for ceremonies. This intrigue and complicated culture will fascinate you.explaination will be done by English Guides.

Highlight of these two days in the Tari Basin include the following: Observe face paintings and Singsing by Huli wigman, Huli Village studies, Observe the wig making school of the Huli men, skull caves and fortune teller a must to see and further you walk over cane bridges engineered and constructed by local Huliman and drive to Lakwanda cultural centre where all activities will be staged. Have a brief stop at Awi Tourism Centre and continue to Waghy Valley. After this tour, we will drive into the Chanty town, Kundiawa and have lunch at Mt Wilheam Hotel, refresh and we will drive furrter to Mindima Village for the SKELETON TRIBES ( OMO MASALAI) and you will have your tour and we will continue on the Vaghy Valley to the Central Highlands of the PNG Women and Men Cultural Performance in their Village Settings..

In the morning, you will be tranfered early to NINTUL Village for the Visit of the Tabare Tribes and their Men’s Haus ( HAUSMAN & Meet the Chief ) and its importance in the Tribal Clans and Communities. You will also have the change to visit the Widows Haus just at the back of the Men’s House and the surviving Widow. We will drive further down through the fertile Asaro Valley, past coffee plantations, vegetable Gardens, interplant with sweet potato, banana, taro cassava, sugar cane with other leaf vegetables and neatly laid out homesteads to Geremaika Village to witness the World famous Asaro Mudman Dance , You will also experience and see the Village life of the Asaro Tribesmen in the Asaro Valley, face painting with village study and experience and observe villagers prepare and cook a meal in the traditional earth oven “tasty mumu” and you do tasting with the local villagers, enjoy picnic lunch in the village. After breakfast, we will drive to Goroka, Next, we will travel through the fertile Asaro Valley, passing coffee, banana, taro, cassava, sugar cane and other vegetable plantations in the surroundings of well-organized farms until we reach Geremaika to witness the world famous dance of the Asaro Mudmen, We will experience what the life of the Asaro tribe members is like, their painted faces and their menacing white mud masks.
We will collaborate with the villagers to prepare and cook our food in the traditional earth oven “mumu” that we will taste together with them. After lunch, we will visit the village of the Nipuka Tribes in Amndo Valley This will be a full Village Expereince tours with Mumu Lunch, Tasting of Home Brew and other daily activities of the tribes. Today is the day for the Tour of the Bena Tribes of the Bena Valley for the Boys Inicaion Cermeony ( Cane Swallowing & Tongue Bleeding ) men going into Men hood and also the tradiontal Welcome dance for vussotors to their tribes and village.

We will have an early breakfast and drive from Goroka downhill towards Kainantu, the gateway between the coast and the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
In Kainantu we will take a break to learn about the production of clay pottery. We will continue the route descending towards the province of Madang. The capital is on the coast of the Bismark Sea, but its province is home to many of the country’s highest peaks and offers a wide ethnic diversity. Madang has been labeled “the prettiest city in the South Pacific” due to its palm-fringed beaches, offshore islands and volcanoes, as well as beautiful parks; all set against a rugged mountainous backdrop. We will enjoy lunch en route at a sugar plantation.
On the way we stop to visit the Balek Wildlife Sanctuary, where an interesting stream of sulphurous waters gushes out of a limestone formation. The aquifer is full of turtles, eels and fish. The local population goes there to cure their illnesses. The setting also features a variety of tropical trees and plants, hot springs, and sulfur caves.
This will be our last stop before reaching Madang in the afternoon. If we arrive at a good time, we can still enjoy a walk at sunset along the seafront near our hotel. Police Escort Trip to Madang . Madang Resort: (BLD)

After breakfast we will move along the Ramu river to the village of Rom. We will enjoy a colorful welcome Sing Sing. We will then share a lovely time with the locals watching a cooking demonstration of the popular and highly prized sago and traditional craft making. After lunch we will return to Dongan. There we will attend a representation of contemporary theater pieces created by a local artist, with traditional clothing and musical instruments. It will be a popular celebration shared with the locals. Next, we will visit their village they will show us the colorfully decorated giant canoes that are a tradition in this area of the Ramu River. We will have breakfast and leave early on the coast road heading west towards the mouth of the Ramu River. The Ramu River is one of the great rivers of Papua New Guinea. It is born in the Kratke mountain range and travels 720 km in its descent to the Bismark Sea, ending only 32 kilometers from the Sepik River. Both rivers share the end of their basin and cultures of great similarity inhabit their meanders. During the journey in front of the Bismark Sea we will enjoy views of the numerous islands near the coast, some of them are smoking active volcanoes such as the island of Manam, near Bogia. Once at the mouth of the Ramu we will embark on a dinghy (motorboat) to go up the river to our destination, the village of Dongan in Bosmun. We will be received by the elders of the local community and invited to enjoy an exhibition of pieces of tribal handicrafts that the families will have contributed from their homes and family heritage. will have breakfast and say goodbye to the endearing Bosmun community. We will take our way back along the river in the direction of Madang. Once at the mouth of the Ramu River, our vehicle will pick us up to continue along the coast road to the city, where we hope to arrive in the early afternoon. We will leave our belongings at the hotel and visit the Madang Museum. Although simple, in it we can see condensed all the history and culture of the north coast of Papua New Guinea, colonized by the Germans at the end of the 19th century: dance costumes, masks, ceramics, boat models, etc. If we still have a little time to spare, we will enjoy a new stroll along the Madang seafront. (Included) Our return flight home is at 14:40. Those who wish can take advantage of the first thing in the morning to go to the nearby Vision City Mall, the only Western-style shopping center in all of PNG.
At mid-morning we will leave to visit the Papua New Guinea National Gallery, the National Museum that treasures a great wealth of cultural pieces from all over the country. It will be the climax and synthesis of our trip. We will return to the hotel to the hotel for lunch. We will finish and tranfers to the airport for your international departures. ( BL)
